Cultural Evolution
Quality of Life
The arts, media, education, and awareness all contribute
to quality of life and the evolution of our culture. What good is sustainability
if what we are sustaining is full of hardship and ignorance?
With the increasing number of consumers that care about
sustainability, personal development and education, the "alternative"
media plays a particularly important role. New publications and trends
research prove that this migration toward healthy lifestyles and sustainability
is no fad, and it is indeed accelerating.
Businesses that appeal to these consumer values will have
carve out an important niche in this growing market.
Media & Cultural Advancement
Investor-oriented, Entrepreneurial and "Sustainable"
Business Publications:
Consumer-oriented Media (Health, Wellness, Healthy
Lifestyles, Natural Living)
Retail Trade Media
Edutainment
Socially-responsible entertainment and educational media
("Edutainment" or "Infotainment"). Priority projects promote sustainability,
sustainable technology, or provide education on how the "new sustainable
economy" can be used for environmentally restorative commerce.
Film projects -- through our offices in Germany, we can arrange "gap
finance" for producing certain types of qualifying films (view
details below).

What is "Gap"
Finance? Gap is the portion
of a production budget which is not guaranteed through pre-sales.
In most cases, we require that this gap be less than 30%. (Only if
the project is extremely strong, will we consider funding more than
30%). In either case, gap finance requires reasonable forecasts of
200% of sales from the unsold territories.
For example, if a film is financed at 80%, whereas
rights are pre-sold for the US and some European territories, the
financing of the 20% gap requires that we see 40% of sales coming
out of the yet unsold territories (e.g. Asia, Japan, etc.).
