Alan Bilinsky
Alan J. Bilinsky, In3 advisory board member, is former
director of the Marina Small Business Incubator (MSIB), responsible for
overall development of programs and operations, including all aspects
of planning and budget management, marketing and tenant recruitment, education
and mentoring program management, revolving loan fund client recruitment,
virtual incubation program management, and facilities buildout and management.
Prior to this position Mr. Bilinsky has held a variety of
business development positions including starting and operating his own
businesses, working as a Marketing and Business Development Consultant
and evaluating technologies and facilitating technology spin-offs at the
University of Michigan. Throughout his career, he has mentored many small
businesses as a consultant and as a volunteer.
- Started 13 companies for University of Michigan as part of their
Technology Management Office in a broad range of industries.
- Helped raised venture capital for Kanisa (approximately $7M), see

- As director of business development in numerous held positions, arranged
licensing and strategic partnership agreements with F500 companies (such
as IBM, etc.).
- Has written SBIR, STTR, ATP and other grants.
- Helped numerous businesses get to commercial proof-of-concept that
enabled funding.
